Dr Arnil Sirimanne studied at Penang Medical College (in collaboration with the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and University College Dublin) where he graduated in 2003 as a Bachelor of Medicine, Surgery and Obstetrics. Dr. Arnil went on to practice as a Medical Officer at the Department of Internal Medicine at Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Klang Hospital from 2004-2008. The Department of Radiotherapy and Oncology at Kuala Lumpur Hospital from 2008-2010 and Oncology Trainee at the University of Malaya from 2010-2017. Dr Arnil Sirimanne completed his education with a Masters in Clinical Oncology at the University of Malaya in 2017.
From 2017 until 2021 Dr Sirimanne has worked extensively as a Clinical Oncologist in Radiotherapy and Oncology at; the Kanser Negara Institute and the Umum Sarawak Hospital. From 2021 until today he is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist at Prince Court Medical Center in Kuala Lumpur.
Since 2017 Dr Sirimanne has been spoken about Oncology at numerous medical conferences since. Recent talks include; the Principles of Radiotherapy and Chemotherapy in Lung Cancer, Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma and Head and Neck Cancers, Radiotherapy in Early Glottic Cancer, Ovarian, Prostate and Testicular cancer.
Dr Sirimanne is a member of the Malaysian Oncological Society (MOS), the Academy of Medicine Malaysia (AMN), the Malaysian Medical Association (MMA), South East Asia Radiation Oncology Group (SEOROG), Federation of Asian Organization for Radiation Oncology (FARO), European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) and European Society Radiation Oncology (ESTRO).
