Introduction

Dr. Czerniak is an experienced plastic surgeon who specializes in body-contouring after massive weight loss, pregnancies and childbirth, and complex abdominal reconstructions.

Education & Training

Dr. Czerniak began her medical education at Ben-Gurion University, Beer-Sheva in Israel where she graduated (BMSc and MD) in 2006. Following an internship at Rabin Medical Center she took up her residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Sourasky medical center (Ichilov hospital) in Tel Aviv from 2008-14 where she received her Israeli board specialty in plastic surgery.

Dr. Czerniak then went on to complete a series of clinical fellowships. The first under Dr. Michael Scheflan in Tel Aviv in breast reconstruction and body contouring. This was followed by a two-year clinical fellowship (2014-16) in Montreal, Canada under Dr. Arthur Swift in Facial and Aesthetic plastic surgery. Finally, she completed a full body-contouring clinical fellowship at UPMC, Pittsburgh, USA at the renowned contouring program under Dr. Peter Rubin and Dr. Jeffery Gussenof.

Experience

In 2017 Dr. Czerniak returned to Israel and took up the position of Head of the Body Contouring Service at Assuta Ashdod University Hospital. From 2021 she has practiced privately at Assia Medical in Tel Aviv specializing in body contouring following massive weight loss / childbirth, lower and upper body lifts, abdominoplasties, thigh lifts, brachioplasty, liposuction, breast surgeries and complex abdominal reconstruction.
