Education & Training

Dr. Ibrahim began his medical studies at the University of Otago (New Zealand) where he graduated with an MBChB (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) followed up with a Master of Internal Medicine (MMed) at the University Malaya (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) in 2009. Dr. Ibrahim then commenced his specialization in Cardiology at the University of Malaya Medical Centre (Malaysia) where he trained in Interventional Cardiology from 2009-11. Dr. Ibrahim continued his training at Serdang Hospital (Malaysia) from 2011-14 in General and Interventional Cardiology.

Dr. Ibrahim then returned to New Zealand to complete his clinical education with a Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at Green Lane Cardiovascular Services, Auckland City Hospital (New Zealand) from 2014-15.

Experience

Dr. Ibrahim has practiced privately as a Consultant Cardiologist and Physician, at the Ara Damansara Medical Centre (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) and Visiting Consultant Cardiologist at UiTM Medical Faculty (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia). From 2016-17 he was Head of Department (Internal Medicine) at UiTM Medical Faculty and from 2021 until now has is Chairman of the Medical Advisory Board at Ara Damansara Medical Centre.
